Ifyou use a wig for medical reasons, i.e. to "remedy the aesthetic damage caused by a pathology, and to alleviate a condition of serious psychological discomfort in everyday life relations" (Revenue Agency Resolution 9/E of 16 February 2010), in addition to being able to deduct it in your income tax return, and be reimbursed in the regions where such a service is provided, you can also purchase it with a4% VAT reduction.
To give an example, a model normally sold at 250€ can be purchased for only 213.11€.
Warning: the regulations make no reference to the specific type of pathology, which can therefore be, for example, either an oncological pathology or alopecia completely unrelated to chemotherapy or other oncological therapies.
The procedure is simple but not immediate, and must be followed step by step because it requires attention and the completion of a series of special steps. Here they are, in brief:

Choose model and colour. The wig you choose must be a Medical Device, and therefore in line with national and EU regulations governing the application of the CE mark. All our wigs, except those of the Lanza Economy line, are Medical Devices with CE Marking.

You must provide, either in the original or in a telematic copy, a declaration from a specialist doctor of your local health authority, certifying your state of infirmity and your need to use a wig to alleviate your state of serious psychological discomfort in your daily relational life. This certification will not be retained in our computer databases, but simply, in paper form, kept at the disposal of the control authority as required by law

Obviously we need your billing information, and an indication of the form of payment you have chosen. Remember that the payment made for the purchase of the wig must be traceable, and therefore made by cheque, bank transfer, credit card or other similar means

Once we have checked that everything is in order and complies with the regulations, we will proceed with the invoicing and dispatch of the product.
The health documentation you provide us with will be retained by us in accordance with the law in full respect of your privacy, and will not be disclosed to anyone except the judicial or tax authorities in the event of an investigation.
Everything is very simple and - apart from checking that the certification produced complies with the law - completely automatic and managed directly by the computer system.
Naturally, even the purchase with VAT facilitated, according to the above-mentioned modalities, enjoys the protection of the Right of Withdrawal in the case of distance purchases, and therefore your purchase may be replaced or returned, according to the law, should you wish to do so.
