Our wigs are designed, researched and constructed to be extremely elastic, and thus be able to adapt to even quite different head sizes. Wearing them means having the feeling of wearing a competitive swimming cap, which adapts very much to the conformation of the head, not a rigid hat, perhaps rather wide, which 'dances' on the head.
In order to ensure the best 'fit', three different sizes are already provided for at the design stage, and each model is built in that particular size and no other.
In general terms:

If the word 'small' or 'petite' appears in the technical characteristics of the model, then it is a model in a small size

If the word "large" appears in the technical specifications of the model, then it is a large-sized model

If the word 'regular ' appears in the technical specifications of the model, then it is a regular size model

Regular Size
A good 90% or more of the models on the site are in regular size, because thanks to the elasticity of design and manufacture, regular size fits almost all women's heads. Generally speaking, one of our regular size models fits 'circumferences' ranging from 52-53 to 57-58 centimetres.
Inverted commas are used because this is not a true circumference. With a dressmaker's tape measure, one should follow the course of the hairline, going all the way round from the forehead to the nape of the neck, passing immediately above the ears. If you find a value within the given limits, you can safely buy a regular size item.
Small Size
Small size models are often, but not always, intended for our younger audience. Using the dressmaker's tape measure as just indicated, it will only be a good idea to go for one of the few models in a small size if the circumference is within about 49 - 53 centimetres. In the very special case where the measured values are smaller than this, it will probably be necessary to go for a custom-made construction. Alternatively, you can contact us and ask for the modalities and quotation for our shrinkage intervention.
Large size
Ladies with a 'big' head will probably have to turn towards one of the few models in a large size. We are talking about circumferences from 57-58 centimetres up to 61-62. Here too, in the very special case where the measured values are larger than these, it will be good to turn towards a customised construction.
